NeuroMimesys is designed as a non-cellular biomimetic experimental environment for the study of selected membrane-level molecular events relevant to Alzheimer's disease, with reference to membrane processes connected to APP biology, secretases, and the generation of β-amyloid oligomers.

The platform does not replace cellular or animal models. It is designed to complement them by providing a more controllable and interpretable experimental layer for early-stage drug discovery.
